EOC Update for #Alberto- Sunday Midday
BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA EMERGENCY SERVICES·SUNDAY, MAY 27, 2018
• Tropical Storm Alberto is currently expected to make landfall somewhere between the Big Bend and Destin around 7 a.m. Monday, May 28.
• In Bay County, current wind predictions estimate tropical storm-strength gusts (39 mph and greater) to begin around 8 p.m. this evening. Sustained tropical storm-strength winds are expected to begin around 2 a.m. Monday, May 28 and continue through the late afternoon hours Monday.
• In addition to the windy conditions, Bay County is currently expected to receive approximately 8 inches of rainfall and minimal storm surge.
• These conditions make traveling unsafe. During this time, residents and visitors should not be on the roadways and should plan on sheltering in place for the duration of the storm. The Florida Highway Patrol will monitor high-profile bridges and make any determinations regarding the safety of keeping bridges open for travel.
• Should FHP close any bridges, an Alert Bay notification will be issued, so the public is encouraged to sign up for notifications at www.alertbay.org. For the most current information, please follow Bay County on Facebook at BayCountyFLEmergencyServices.
• Bay County Emergency Services, in cooperation with the Red Cross and the Florida Department of Health in Bay County, will open a general population and special needs shelter at Deane Bozeman School at 13410 State Road 77 at 6 p.m. in anticipation of deteriorating weather caused by Tropical Storm Alberto. People who live in low-lying areas and mobile homes should consider relocating.
• Pets and service animals are allowed in the shelter. Their care is the sole responsibility of the owner.

Tropical Storm Watch/Hurricane Preparation & Response Plan
Greetings members,
As we approach hurricane season, rest assured we are working diligently with industry partners, vendors, and our insurance agents to make preparations. As many of you may be aware, the first named storm pre-season is Alberto. The forecast track puts it west of us however we prepare the same regardless of probabilities.
This means careful watch and planning will take place until Alberto makes landfall and passes our latitude. Our area is expected to experience significant rainfall with the chance of high winds and gusts. Should you be leaving town prior to Sunday morning, we ask that you kindly bring your balcony items indoors. We will communicate any requirement to clear balconies with all owners and guests as the event progresses.
I have attached the Preparation/Response Plan specific to Origin at Seahaven as well as the plan provided by NOAA. In addition to this information, those wishing to stay informed should utilize the Bay County Emergency Services alerts via Facebook or sign up for direct messaging via their website.
We will continue to issue notifications through the Association channels of communication (email and www.originatseahaven.org)
As always, should you have specific questions or concerns please contact us at management@originpcb.com and a team member will respond promptly.

Property wide pest control
At the Board of Directors Meeting on 03.10.2018, the BOD voted to approve two (2) property wide treatments per year. The first of these treatments will commence between April and May once an ideal time frame around building occupancy can be identified.
Treatment will include the application of a growth regulator and detailed inspections of units including behind dishwashers and refrigerators. Access to all units will be required.
In addition, A to Z Pest Control Services will inspect for bed bugs and will advise the unit owner accordingly. Bed bugs are excluded and are addressed on an individual basis at the unit owners expense.
Management will communicate the schedule of treatment as it is determined.
