Tropical Storm Michael

Origin at Seahaven Owners,

 

Management will continue to monitor the development of Tropical Storm Michael.  We will begin making preparations to secure the property on Monday.

At this time we ask that owners and/or their rental management plan to bring patio furniture indoors.  This needs to be completed no later than the end of business Tuesday.

All,

Thank you to all that participated from afar and those who were able to attend today’s meeting and election.  Minutes from the meeting will be drafted  as soon as possible.

Results:

Billy Stavridis was re-elected to the Board of Directors.

There was a tie for the remaining seat which will be determined by a run-off election to take place on October 15, 2018.  Notices with ballots and envelopes will be sent to all members prior to Saturday, September 22, 2018.  Electronic voting will be available in addition to traditional postal mail and in-person voting.

Limited Proxy A – Passed

Limited Proxy B – Failed

The electing of officers was tabled until the conclusion of the election.

Second Notice of Annual Members Meeting and Election

Dear Origin Owners:

 

Attached at the bottom of this post is the Second Notice and Agenda for this year’s annual meeting, which will be held at 9:00 AM on September 15, 2018, in the Bamboo Theater at Origin at Seahaven.

 

As you have previously been noticed, an election will be held to fill two (2) residential positions on the Board of Directors.  Each residential owner will receive this packet via postal mail.  This year you may vote via traditional paper ballot or electronic vote. We have enclosed separate instructions for each voting method.

 

The association will be having an owner gathering on the west observation deck on the evening of Friday, September 14, 2018.  We hope that you will be able to attend both the gathering as well as the meeting the following morning. Please kindly send R.S.V.P to management@originpcb.com.

AND BOARD ELECTION OF
ORIGIN AT SEAHAVEN CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION INC.
AND PROCEDURE FOR QUALIFYING FOR BOARD
TO ALL MEMBERS

On Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., Central Standard Time, in the Origin at Seahaven Bamboo Room, 15100 Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach, FL, the Annual Meeting of the Association will be held for the purpose of electing directors, and such other business as may lawfully be conducted. Subsequent to this “First Notice” you will receive a “Second Notice of Annual Meeting” that will specify the Agenda and advise of other important information concerning the Annual Meeting.

The purpose of this Notice is to advise you of the date, time, and place of the Annual Meeting and Election and to inform you of the process of qualifying for the Board.

QUALIFYING FOR THE BOARD

On or before August 6, 2018, you must give written notice either by mail or in person, to the Association of your intent to run for the Board, addressed to the Association’s mailing address: 15100 Front Beach RD #419, Panama City Beach, FL 32413. The enclosed Notice of Intent to be a Candidate for the Board form may be used for that purpose.
You may submit the enclosed Candidate Information Sheet, or a single, not to exceed one side, 8 ½ X 11” sheet of paper, which may contain information describing the candidate’s background, education and qualifications as well as other factors deemed relevant by the candidate. This information sheet must be submitted to the Association on or before August 11, 2018. Within 90 days after being elected or appointed to the Board, the Board member must certify in writing to the Secretary that he or she has read and understands the governing documents and will faithfully discharge his or her fiduciary responsibility.

The Candidate Information Sheet, Agenda, and Ballots will be mailed to voting members, with the Second Notice of the Annual Meeting, no less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the Annual Meeting.
